Unmasking Satan’s Attacks Within The Brethren

In the spiritual realm, the enemy often prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. One of his subtle tactics is to infiltrate the brethren, using various means to sow discord, doubt, and division within the body of Yahusha. Indeed, Satan does not always come as a blatant adversary but can masquerade as an angel of light, employing fellow believers as unwitting instruments in his schemes.

Scripture warns us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." This admonition serves as a sobering reminder that our battles are not merely physical or interpersonal but are deeply rooted in the spiritual realm.

One of Satan's tactics is to exploit Scripture itself, twisting its meaning and distorting its truths to serve his nefarious purposes. Even the most devout followers of Yahuah can fall prey to his cunning schemes when they are not grounded in the Word of Yahuah and discerning of his tactics.

The Complete Jewish Bible (CJB) provides a unique perspective on Scripture, but even this translation is not immune to manipulation by the enemy. Satan can use cherry-picked verses or out-of-context passages to deceive and manipulate believers, leading them astray from the truth.

Moreover, Satan often employs fellow believers as unwitting agents in his attacks on the brethren. These individuals may be well-intentioned but misguided, or they may be influenced by their own fears, insecurities, or sinful desires. Regardless of their motives, they become unwitting pawns in the enemy's hands, causing harm and division within the body of Yahusha.

In such times, it is crucial for believers to remain vigilant and discerning, testing everything against the standard of Yahuah's Word and seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We must also remember the exhortation in 1 Peter 5:8-9: "Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings."

As members of the body of Yahusha, we are called to stand united against the schemes of the enemy, supporting and encouraging one another in the faith. By remaining steadfast in prayer, studying the Scriptures diligently, and walking in the power of the Holy Spirit, we can thwart Satan's attacks and uphold the unity and purity of the brethren.

Let us not be ignorant of Satan's devices but instead, let us be wise as serpents and innocent as doves, ever watchful and prayerful, knowing that our victory is assured through Yahusha who strengthens us.
